Night Shelter for Homeless People

The organization is running the Night shelter at Vellore to homeless people who are living in Plat forms and picking papers in roadsides and elders. The home provides food and accommodation in the nights and taking care to them and provides social protection. The Total beneficiaries are 68 in the home.

Health Check-up For Night Shelter

The organization is conducting Health Check-up camps to the beneficiaries of the home on every month. The Doctors and Nurses are checking the inmates and provided free health and medical advices and treatment on free of cost. Every month 68 beneficiaries are benefiting under the camp. The camps were held at Night shelter premises from morning to afternoon.

Tree Plantation

The organization took initiative to act against the Global warming with the cooperation and coordination of the community including school students in Aiylam village. We planted different kinds of spices of seedlings in High school campus at Aiylam village. We planted 100 seedlings in school and another 150 seedlings in open areas of Private lands and both sides of Panchyath roads. The local youth and women groups are taking care to watering the seedlings for the minimum of three months and also to provide social protection from animal beings and unwanted disturbances from the common public.

National Environmental Awareness Campaign (NEAC)

We conducted NEAC programs in Veppoor village and planted trees in and around villages of Veppoor with the participation of the students, village youths and women groups to protect the surface from global warming and increase the oxygen bank in the surface to protect from diseases. The program was sponsored by Ministry of Forests and Environment through RRA of CPR Aiyar Foundation, Chennai.

Women Empowerment

Women Empowerment program was conducted in Melvisharam which consists of empowering leadership qualities, personality development, Group functioning, banking systems, income generation programs through local available sources, Details of skill trainings, and community cum political involvements to evolve good women leaders from the community.

Hand loom Training

Handloom Training was given to 80 beneficiaries for the period of one month at Arni- Sevoor village for improving and to updating knowledge under Handloom technology. The Department of Handloom technology train the women under the trades with new techniques and how to weave new models at cheaper cost to gain more profit margins.

Tailoring Training

The Tailoring Training was conducted to empower and enhance to involve in new employment in place of Agriculture and other normal works they involved. The duration of the training was three months. We conducted three batches consists of 30 learners per batch and totally 90 women and girls benefited under the course. The programs were held at Arcot and Ranipet. The learners learn how to measure, cut, stitch and fitting including embroidery. The women and children garments are the main subjects in the training both inner and outer garments of the women and children.
